Class 112 In a two-part presser foot a sole-plate 10 is provded with a pivot pin 9 held releasably in a notch 11 formed in the upper part 1. secured to the presser bar 13, by hookshaped end 7 of a hand-operable member 6 connected adjustably to part 1. Member 6 is pivoted at 5 to a lever 4 pivoted by means of an eccentric screw 3 to part 1. In the raised position of the lever pivots 5, 3 and 9 are aligned to form a toggle arrangement for retaining hook end 7 in engagement with pin 9. Screw 3 may be adjusted to vary the position of hook end 7. When the sole plate is removed member 6 abuts a pin 16 on part 1, and a pin 14 on member 6 abuts an edge 15 of part 1.
