In apparatus for injection moulding a sole S and toe cap C on to an upper T, the moulding material is injected at the toe end of the mould cavity. The mould includes two mould halves 2, (3) formed with upstanding toe moulding portions 2a, (3a) and supported on a bedplate 1 for rotation about a pivot pin 6. One mould half has an injection inlet 10 and a vent 14.
