Class 34(2) In a malt kiln house, hot air from a fire box A is supplied to a chamber B through a duct a<SP>4</SP>, the air is dispersed by a plate B<SP>1</SP> on to the underside of a kiln floor D and kilned malt is discharged to stripping bins C through an aperture b<SP>1</SP>, which preferably extends the whole width of the floor, by tipping of the kilning floor.
