Abstract

[Class 34(ii)] [Also in Group I] Grain is dried by blowing or sucking heated or cooled air by a fan 17 through a perforated or apertured air tube 13 extending vertically or horizontally in a silo provided with perforated or apertured outer walls 10. The silo walls may be formed from louvres. The bottom 12 of the louvred and the air tube may also be silo may be at an angle as shown in dotted lines in order to facilitate emptying of the silo.
