Abstract

825,916. Coiling textile slivers. SACOLOWELL SHOPS. May 1 1957 [May 22, 1956], No. 7400/59. Divided out of 825,915. Class 120(3) Mechanism for coiling textile slivers comprises a gear 12 with an orifice for depositing sliver in a coil, a number of rollers 29 mounted in rolling contact with the gear for supporting it for rotation in a horizontal plane. The rollers are mounted on stub shafts and have convex peripheries engaging a corresponding race in an upturned rim of the gear. The rim also has teeth 27 which engage those of a driving-pinion 13. A tilting coilertube and a stop-motion as set forth in Specification 825,915 are provided.
