Classes 20(4) and 87(1) In a prefabricated panel construction the supports 5 located between projecting flanges 3<SP>1</SP> of the panels 1 are arranged to provide, with the surrounding flange 3<SP>1</SP>, a space 10, Fig. 4, for a cement grouting or concrete filling, a space 11 for a heat insulating material such as glass wool, vermiculite, slag wool or granulated cork, and at least one air space 12 which reduces condensation at the junctions of the panels. Each panel comprises two sheets of metal enclosing heat insulating material, the ends of the panels being provided with vertical wooden battens 26 and the tops and bottoms being provided with guide flanges 3 to engage guide rails 4 and 7, Fig. 1, on the floor and ceiling. The lower end of each post 5 fits on a peg 6 on the rail 4 and a removable spigot 6a at the upper end engages in a hole in the rail 7. In a modification, Fig. 6, the guide post 23 is of cruciform cross-section to provide the spaces 10, 11 for cement and insulating material and the air spaces 12, the upper end of the post engaging directly in a hole in the upper guide rail or in a roof-truss.
