820,909. Wearing-apparel. CURTIS, L. March 14, 1958 [April 2, 1957], No. 10688/57. Class 141 To allow for adjustability in girth of a "wrap-over" garments, one stringer 2 of a sliding clasp fastener is secured to one edge of the garment and two or more opposite stringers 3, 4 are secured at spaced positions for selective engagement with the stringer 2. A sliding clasp 2a is provided on the stringer 2 or on each of the stringers 3, 4. The invention may be applied to dresses, skirts, brassieres, corsets or corselets. In a corset 1 the overlaid panel 8 is held in position by spaced alternative rows of eyes 6, 7 and co-operating hooks 5.
