Abstract
820,507. Resonant lines. COLLINS RADIO CO. Oct. 5, 1956, No. 30461/56. Class 40 (8). A high-frequency timing device comprises first, second, and third conducting plates 10, 12 and 14 and a capacitor C1 connected as shown. Plate 12 acts as an inductance and is adjustably connected by sliding contacts 16, 17 and a conductor 15 to the plate 14 which is capable of acting both as an inductance and a capacitance, and is substantially the same length as plate 12. Figs. 4-7 (not shown) represent an embodiment of the invention in which second and third plates 19, 23 are generally annular with a break in their peripheries, and the three plates are spaced by a solid dielectric.
