Abstract
769,959. Coaxial and Lecher-line resonators. COMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FIL. April 26, 1955 [May 31, 1954], No. 12010/55. Class 40 (8). [Also in Group XL (c)] An oscillator comprises a resonant circuit consisting of a first line 2 provided with means 8 for coarsely adjusting the resonant frequency, connected in series with a second adjustable line 14 which provides a fine adjustment of the frequency, the second line being loaded with a low impedance Z. As shown, the outer conductor 21 of the first line is coupled through a capacitance 3 to a member 2<11> connected to the grid and the inner conductor of the inner line is connected to the anode A. The low impedance consists of a capacitance between a cylinder 10 connected to the inner conductor and the cylinder 141, or by the capacitance between a conductive plate fixed to the inner conductor and a disc joined to the anode. The concentric lines may be replaced by Lecher lines.
