Abstract
1,039,529. Resonant lines; circuit assemblies. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. Aug. 26, 1963 [Aug. 24, 1962; April 24, 1963 (2)], No. 33637/63. Headings H1R and H1W. [Also in Division H3] A line resonator comprises a strip conductor arranged within a slot formed in a plate of conductive material. In the embodiments shown the strip conductor is in the form of a tongue integral with the sheet and may be either selfsupporting or may be supported by strips of dielectric material e.g. strip 39. Four resonators 11, 12, 13, 14 are shown formed in the same conductive sheet. The resonators are adjustably coupled in pairs by rotatable conductive members 27 supported on insulative pins. The pairs are coupled by a transistor 30 and the first resonator is coupled to an aerial lead 15 via a transistor 20. An output is taken off by means of a loop conductor 34 printed upon a laterally adjustably insulating plate 33. Each resonator may be tuned by the adjustable capacitance formed by a conductive piston 25 movable within, but insulated from, a cylindrical extension 26 of the line conductor.
