A side-delivery rake of the oblique rake-wheel type wherein the frame comprises two members 9, 18 coupled together by a vertical pivot 5, the members being relatively adjustable but locked together, the first member 9 carrying a series of rake-wheels 1-4 whose wheel-planes are turnable about vertical axes and the second member being connected to a tractor 27, is so arranged that when the members 9, 18 are adjusted relatively the rakewheel planes are simultaneously turned to convert the device into a tedder, or vice-versa. The member 18 is supported by a caster 15 at its outer end which is connected by an L-shaped drawbar 25 to the tractor, the drawbar being swingable through 180 degrees about a horizontal pivot 24. A caster 16 on an arm 19 on the pivot 5 supports the front of the member 9. Vertical pivots 5, 6, 7 ,8 of the rake-wheels are coupled together by a beam 14 so that relative movement of the members 9 and 18 turns all the pivots and with them, the arms 19, 20 carrying ground wheels 16, 17. The wheel 17 is not a caster and may be fixed in orientation by a pin and strut 23. The interrelation of the members 9, 18 is secured by a locking detent 21, 22 actuable by a cable 38. The turning of a shaft 35 by a remotecontrol 37 lifts all the rake-wheels in unison. For side delivery, the arrangement is as shown in Fig. 1, but for tedding, the drawbar 25 is inverted about the pivot 24 and the members 18, 19 are angled so that the rake-wheels are perpendicular to the length of the member 9 Fig. 3.
