A reversible plough comprising ploughs 5 mounted on a shaft 2 is characterized in that the shaft 2 is rotated by a shaft 3 provided with an arm 15 having a crank-pin 16 arranged to slide in a crank 18 on the shaft 2. The shaft 3 is provided with a crank 9 connected to a double acting hydraulic ram 11 of the type provided with means for restricting the flow of pressure fluid to exhaust towards the end of each stroke of the piston. A levelling arm 19 in the shaft 2 engages alternately with adjustable stops 20 to determine the angle between the ploughs and the frame 1. The frame 1 is provided with a tripod 21 and hitch pins 23 for attachment to the three point linkage of a tractor. The hitch pins 23 are mounted in a drawbar 24 which is carried in slots in brackets 25 and bears against adjustable stops 26. A cam on the arm 19 engages with the edge of the drawbar and alters its angular relation to the frame 1. The shaft 3 may be operated manually and the convention may be applied to semi-mounted or trailed reversible ploughs. Specification 665,666 is referred to.
