Abstract

The plough comprises a forecarriage (2) which can be coupled to the linkages of the tractor and on which the plough frame (4) is pivoted, a swivel (11) which permits reversal of the plough, a fluid cylinder (16) for effecting reversal of the plough and a fluid cylinder (12) for displacing the frame (4) relative to the forecarriage (2) about an axle (5) which is disposed vertically when the plough is in its working position. The frame (4) is connected to the forecarriage (2) via a slide arrangement (8,9) which permits parallel displacement of the frame relative to the forecarriage and the cylinder (12) for displacing the frame is operable independently of the reversing cylinder (16). A fluid control circuit including check valves (20, 21, 24) and throttle (23) ensures reversal of the plough begins only upon completion of the angular displacement of the frame and that such angular displacement is reversible only after plough reversal is completed, the displacement being limited by adjustable stops (6, 14). <IMAGE>
