Abstract

818,154. Lampholders; two-part couplings. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. Oct. 25, 1956 [Nov. 29, 1955], No. 34209/55. Class 38 (1). A lampholder (as shown), or valve holder, comprises contacts each having a bifurcated portion 4 to receive a lamp contact and a blade portion 11 to plug into a socket having resilient fingers 17, a projection 19 and recess 20 on the blade and socket respectively engaging to interlock the contacts. Each contact has lugs 12 and is retained in position between an insulating body 2 and a cover 13, a spring clip securing the cover to the body, the clip having fingers 16 for snap engagement in an aperture in a panel.
