811,402. Attaching upholstery to perambulators. LINE BROS. Ltd. Dec. 5, 1957 [Dec 27, 1956], No. 39330/56. Class 52(4) An upholstered lining for a perambulator body 14 consists of a bottom panel 1 and side panels 2 each formed along its upper edge with a pocket containing a rigid stiffening member 12, the pocket being secured to the body as by press-studs 19 taking through members 12 and top flangers 20 of the body. As shown panels 2 consist of padding 9 and stiffening members 10 confined between inner and outer sheets of polyvinyl chloride seam welded around their edges and to form the edge pockets. The bottom panel may be similarly formed but as shown it consists of a rigid sheet secured by tacks 13 to the lower edges of panels 2 which have lower pockets containing stiffening members 11. Bottom 1 is secured by screws 17 to cross members 15, 16 of the body.
