805,265. Protective cut-out systems. BALDWIN, H. T. June 27, 1956 [June 28, 1955], No. 18564/55. Class 38 (5). Two core-balance current transformers A, B, each have a bias winding a, b<SP>1</SP> arranged in series but reversely connected so as to produce opposite effects in the respective secondary windings a, b. The bias windings are supplied from a potential transformer C which has its primary connected between an artificial neutral D and one line L<SP>1</SP>. The protected system is earthed at O either directly or through an impedance. The windings a, b may be connected in parallel or to two separate devices.
