Abstract
803,956. Cylinder heads. LANOVA A. G. Aug. 27, 1956 [March 22, 1956], No. 26111/56. Addition to 711,739. Classes 7(2) and 7(3) A circular insert 18, which is pressed or cast into a cavity in an air-cooled cylinder head 17, has formed therein an elongated combustion chamber 19 and a pair of valve seats 21, 22, the longitudinal axis of the chamber 19 forming a chord 20 of the insert and the centres of the valve seats 21, 22, lying on that side of the diameter 25 parallel to said chord which is remote from chamber 19. The injection nozzle 27 injects towards an air cell 26.
