Class 79(1) [Also in Group XXX] A tool carrier structure, for mounting at the rear of a tractor, comprises a connecting member 1, 2, pivotally connectible to the tractor chassis 13 at a point 3 forward of the rear axle, a tool carrier in the form of a two-arm lever 6, 8 pivoted to the member 1, 2 at 5, the arm 8 of the carrier being adapted to support a tool thereon, a flexible inextensible member (chain 14) connecting the arm 6 of the lever to the tractor at a point (on a bracket 12) to the rear of the rear axle and hydraulic ram means 9 pivoted to the connecting member 1, 2 at 10, and to the arm 8 at 11 for rotating the lever 6, 8 in a direction to tauten the member 14. When the chain 14 is taut the lever 6, 8 can rotate relative thereto at 7 and the member 1, 2 can rotate about the point 3 to lift the too] from the ground.
