Abstract

1512176 Reversible ploughs PFLUGFABRIK LEMKEN KG 26 Feb 1976 [5 March 1975] 07608/76 Heading A1B The support wheel 16 of a reversible plough is mounted on a carrier 5 which is carried by a shaft 4 rotatably received in a bush 3 slidable in a bracket 1a secured to the plough frame 1, and the wheel 16 can be moved through 90‹ in order to serve as a transport wheel by being pivotable on the carrier 5. In Fig. 1, the stub axle 15 of the wheel 16 is carried by a bush 14 rotatably supported on a shaft portion 13 of the carrier 5 rotation being limited to 90‹ by pin-and-slots 17. Operation: During soil - working, the bush 3 is in the inward position shown in Figs. 1, and the fixed stop 9 abuts on either one of the dogs 8 according to which set of shares is in use. The depth of, working is controlled by adjustment of the carrier 5 in its clamp 7. For transport the peg 12 is removed from the position shown in Fig. 1, and the bush 3 is slid outwards to the Fig. 4 position and secured by peg 12 so that the stop 9 is clear of the dogs 8 and the carrier can swing freely. The wheel 16 is then swung through 90‹ about the axis of the carrier 5.
