Abstract
796,811. Stud and socket fasteners. SOC. ANON. GIULIO FIOCCHI. Oct. 27, 1954 [Nov. 7, 1953; July 30, 1954], No. 30950/54. Class 44 [Also in Group VII] A belt or bracelet comprises a stud and socket snap fastener, the stud A and/or socket B being removably engaged in one of a series of holes in the belt 1 &c. and consisting of two attachable elements 2, 2<SP>1</SP>, connectable together with the belt &c. between them. As shown, the socket comprises two interengaging members 2, 2<SP>1</SP> (Fig. 2), having internally and externally threaded bosses 4, 7, respectively, which interengage within the selected hole of the belt 1. The stud A may be similarly formed by interengaging members, or, as shown (Fig. 7), may be retained on the band 1 by a collar 16 and flange 3<SP>1</SP>, with or without, the assistance or a radially-split spring washer 18.
