744,731. Suspender fastenings. WALKER, Ltd., T. Nov. 3, 1954 [Dec. 19, 1953], No. 35396/53. Class 44. A stocking suspender clasp comprises a stud or button 1 which is attached to a metal back plate 2 and is grooved or necked so as to have a head 6 at its forward end and a flange 7 at its inner end. The flange 7 which functions to protect the material of the stocking from the metal backplate 2, may be provided at each of two opposite sides, or it may extend continuously around the inner end of the stud 1. The latter may be oval or circular in crosssection. Specification 312,647, [Class 44], is referred to.
