Abstract

795,913. Tipping milk cans. VENNOOTSCRAP ONDER DE FIRMA INDUSTRIEEN HANDELSONDERNEMING LANFERS & CO. Sept. 30, 1955 [Sept. 30, 1954], No. 27840/55. Class 78 (4). A rotatable frame 1 receives milk cans from a conveyer 4, tips them about a stop 6 so discharging them into a shoot 7, and then deposits them in an inverted position on a further conveyer 5. The frame is provided with carriers 11 which, during rotation of frame 1, are pivoted about axes 8a, by the engagement of rollers 12a with a stationary cam track 13 to control the emptying action. Each carrier is also pivoted about an axis 9 when it strikes a fixed abutment (not shown) at the top of its movement so freeing the can for movement along conveyer 5; a further fixed abutment (also not shown) being provided to return each carrier to its own can engaging position when it reaches the bottom of its movement. The frame 1 is supported by rollers 2 and is rotated by a pinion 3 engaging teeth (not shown) on the rim of the frame.
