Abstract

The machine prints, on a predetermined spot, a skirted stopper of plastic for a bottle etc. It has a disc rotating continuously on a horizontal axis, and equipped at the periphery with a number of mountings. The stoppers emerge one by one from a spout, and are thrust into the mountings by a mechanism as they pass it. A further mechanism inclines the stopper at the correct angle on its mounting, and it is passed below a flame treatment unit as the disc rotates. It then passes under a roller carrying the inked printing block, and finally to an unloader mechanism.
