Abstract

To permit of greater angular movement of the universal joint connecting a handle 11 to a mop frame of the type, having a pair of flat metal strips 1, 2 of U-form pivotally mounted on a transverse member 3 to which they may be clamped in any desired position, the limbs 9 of a socket 8 in which the handle 11 is secured pass about a flat portion 6 of the member 3 and are pivotally connected thereto by a pivot pin that is offset from the axis of the member 3.
