Abstract

791,636. Time switches. BUSCH-JAEGER DURENER METALLWERKE AKT. - GES. Jan. 12, 1956 [Feb. 12, 1955], No. 1138/56. Class 38 (5). The setting knob 10 of a switch is carried by a shaft 9 connected to a shaft 6 arranged to be rotated once every 12 or 24 hours by a driving spring 1 via shaft 3 and gears 7, 8. The gear 8 is integral with a cam 11 co-operating with an operating lever 12 of a switch 14. Manual rotation of the knob in one direction winds the spring via the gears 7, 8 and a one-way clutch 15, and in the other direction sets the cam relatively to a projection 12a on lever 12. The knob has a push-button 16 which may be engaged in a tapered slot in the plate 17 so as to stop the clockwork when the switch is " on ". A push-button 23 carries a wire spring (Fig. 1, not shown), which may be wiped on the balance wheel to start the clockwork.
