Abstract
791,102. Bracelets. FISCHER, J., and BERGMAN, (nee RICHTER, M.) '[trading as FISCHER KOMM.-GES., A.]. March 22, 1956 [March 24, 1955; March 24, 1955], No. 8935/56. Class 43. An expansible-link strap has box shaped main links a which comprise a cover a<SP>2</SP> detachably fitted over a bottom shell a<SP>1</SP> which has rectangular slots c in its side walls through which pass connecting links b spring loaded to rotate about hinge pins d on the side walls of the main links. A retracting coil spring g on a rivet f which passes through the link b at the centre of each main link has one end contacting a side wall of the main link and the other end contacting an abutment k on the link b. A false bottom d is retained in the lower shell a<SP>1</SP> by side lugs e. The links b may have eyes k for engaging the hinge pins i or hooks. For detaching some of the links, the links h are provided with hooks p or with a T-shaped eye for engaging a T- shaped pin on the main link. Alternatively shortened connecting links may be used with hooks detachably engaging a pin i on each main link. In further embodiments a coiled spring may engage between two connecting links or between the link b and either wall of the main link or a hinge pin may carry a looped spring which engages both links. The connecting links may pivot , about hinges on the more remote walls of the adjacent links.
