Abstract

Class 44 [Also in Group X] A fastener for securing a beading to a panel 22 comprises a strip of metal bent to substantially channel shape so as to have a plate-like body 10 and two upstanding wings 11 and 12 adapted to engage and retain a beading 21, the body of the channel being formed with a hole 10A to receive a rivet 23 or the like and with ribs, grooves or flanges 13 and 14 designed to strengthen the body. In another embodiment. Figs. 4 to 6 (not shown) the flanges 13 and 14 are replaced by ribs pressed out of the body 10. In modification of the Fig. 1 construction, the wings 11 and 12 are curved along their length.
