Class 109 [Also in Group IX] In the production of a composite yarn (see Group IX) staple fibre, as at 19a, 20a, is passed through a reciprocating motion guide 25, thence through pairs of drafting rollers 21, 22, 23, to the last of which a filament core 26a is directed by an eye 27 forming part of a guide 28 which reciprocates in synchronism with the guide 25, and intertwisted fibres and core, forming a wrapped yarn 29, are wound on a spool 30.
