777,450. Drying sections of paper-making machines. CARRIER-ROSS ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and SANDO, R. G. Nov. 29, 1954 [Dec. 4, 1953], No. 33846/53. Class 96. Hot air from headers 10 &c. along each side of a drying section of a paper-making machine flows down pipes 12, through nozzles 7, 7a and across the surfaces of the moving paper web 19 as it travels over the drying cylinders 1, 4, the nozzles 7 for the upper bank of cylinders 1 being supplied from the header 10 at one side of the machine and the nozzles 7a for the lower bank from that at the other side.
