726,571. Water extraction in paper manufacture. OHLS, E. March 10, 1953 [April 24, 1952], No. 6592/53. Class 96. Extraction of water from the pulp web 20 of a Fourdrinier paper-making machine is facilitated by steam jets from pipes 25, e.g. over a suction box 18, a couch roll 11, and at a wet press 34. The pipes 25 are in longitudinal sections, each controlled by a valve. Hoods 28 cover the pipes and jets. Specification 257,449, [Class 96], is referred to.
