An I.F. transformer comprises primary and secondary coils A, B mounted on separate parallel formers C, D each former housing a movable magnetic core J, L for adjusting the inductances of the coils A, B, one of the formers -as shown D-housing an additional movable magnetic core N for adjusting the coupling between the two coils A, B. Condensers P, Q are provided to tune the coils A, B, the whole assembly being contained within a screening can.
