775,162. Boots &c. WORCESTER SHOE CO. May 19, 1955, No. 14491/55. Class 17 (2). A boot having a rubber and cork composition sole and heel 10, 12 and a waterproofed leather upper 20, 24 is provided with a waterproof welt 18. The whole of the upper and insole is provided with an insulating lining 40, 46, 52 of oreated latex, having covers 42, 48. The layers 46, 52 lining the vamp and quarter extend below the insole lining layer 40 and are secured together with the welt 18 to the insole lip 36 by the seam 38 waterproofed by waxing. The heel 12 may be provided with spaces 16 to lighten it.
