Abstract

773,761. Container closures. ALBERDI, S. M. Aug. 30, 1955, No. 24886/55. Class 125(3). A closure cap for collapsible tubes &c. has its end wall formed by a diaphragm 11 pierced by an orifice 12 and radial slits 13, a sealing spider 21 consisting of central boss 22 and radial legs 23 being situated close behind the diaphragm so that pressure on the container causes pasty contents to be extruded through the slits which act as self-closing valves to close the tube when pressure is released.
