A closure for a collapsible tube T having its mouth B closed by a sealing membrane M consists of a screw cap having a frangible annular extension 2 engaging a shoulder A on the tube to prevent a protruberance 4, with at least one sharpenedportion, from contacting the membrane but continued screwing breaks extension 2 and allows the cap to be screwed down so that protruberance 4 ruptures membrane M.
