Abstract

773,714. Portable containers. JAGENBERG-WERKE AKT.-GES. May 3,1955 [May 28, 1954], No. 12774/55. Classes 66 and 94(1). A liquid container made of paper comprises a body 1 having at its upper end a polygonal cross section, the walls of the body closely adjacent the upper end being necked inwards to a depth sufficient to provide a groove 10 and an outwardly extending rim, with the perimetrical edge of the rim lying in the vertical planes containing the walls, and a flat closure 2, Fig. 3, conforming in size and shape to the upper portion of the container adhesively secured to the rim. The closure 2 is square with rounded corners and has an opening 11 which can be sealed by means of a flap (not shown). The lower end of the container tapers and has a round cross section. The bottom 3 has a flange 14 embraced by the bottom edge of the body. Specification 746,891 is referred to.
