Abstract

1440611 Liquid container JESSEL UNIVERSAL Ltd 18 March 1974 [17 March 1973] 12945/73 Heading B8P A liquid container comprises in combination a plastics bag having an opening for filling the bag with liquid and discharging it therefrom, which opening is provided with a cap; and a box having a lid, the box being formed of rigid plastics material and having a shelf of rigid plastics material extending over the whole crosssection of the box parallel to the lid, which shelf has an aperture therein through which the opening of the bag is secured, with the bag positioned below the shelf and the opening on the side of the shelf adjacent the lid. As shown the bag 8 is provided with an annular flange 10 which defines the opening in the bag, is releasably secured within the aperture in the shelf 7, and is provided with a screw thread 34 for the fixing of a cap thereto.
