A box for powder comprises a body 1, the top of which is sealed by a transparent sheet, and the periphery of which has a discharge aperture 3, and a flanged lid, the lid engaging a resilient sealing member 4 surrounding the aperture to form a tight closure. The lid may have an aperture 6 for rotation into register with the aperture 3. According to the Provisional Specification, a projection on the body may operate in a slot in the lid or vice-versa to limit the relative movement. Also according to the Provisional Specification, the box may be of polygonal shape and have apertures aligned by limited axial movement of the body and lid. Indicating means for the position of the aperture 3 may be provided. There may be more than one discharge aperture.
