Abstract

772,418. Dynamo-electric machines. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Dec. 16, 1955 [Dec. 29, 1954], No. 36120/55. Class 35. A slot liner for a dynamo-electric machine is formed of resilient insulating material such as polyethylene terephthalate or nylon, and has a flap-like extension 7 which is adapted to be bent inwardly to permit the insertion of the winding coils, and to spring back to bridge across the sides 6, 8, thereby to wedge the coils in the slot. The liner may be provided with cuff portions 15 for locating the liner in a slot.
