Abstract

758,964. Securing coils for dynamo-electric machines. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 20, 1955 [April 22, 1954], No. 11698/54. Class 35. A slot wedge has at least one corrugation so as to increase the wedge resiliency when located between the slot sides. The Figure shows a corrugated wedge 1 having a multiple layer of resin-bonded laminae of insulating material, e.g. glass fibres impregnated with a polyester resin. If required, the wedge may be provided with ventilation holes. Specification 613,650, [Group IV (a)], is referred to.
