Abstract

842,316. Cores for dynamo-electric machines. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO. Ltd. May 28, 1957 [June 25, 1956], No. 19604/56. Class 35. Core laminµ are clamped together by axiallyextending strips occupying grooves in the pack periphery, the ends of the strips being bent over at right-angles so that they exert pressure on the outermost laminµ. As shown, pressure is also applied at point 4 so that the flattened strip engages the side walls of the groove in the laminated pack.
