Abstract

771,390. Titanium alloys. REM-CRU TITANIUM Inc. Feb. 9, 1955, No. 3834/55. Addition to 757,383. Class 82(1) An alloy consists of Sn 0.5-23 per cent and more than 30 per cent up to 50 per cent in total of one or more of the following: Mo, V, Nb, Ta, Zr up to 50 per cent each; Cr up to 20 per cent; Mn up to 12 per cent; Fe, In, Cd, Bb, Ag, Te, Zn up to 10 per cent each; W up to 15 per cent; Cu, Co, Ni, Bi, Te, Ce up to 5 per cent each; Be and B up to 1 per cent each; Si up to 2 per cent; A1 up to 8 per cent, the remainder of the alloy being Ti and impurities. The alloy may also contain C up to 1 per cent; O up to 0.5 per cent; N up to 0.4 per cent.
