770,287. Boring-heads. HARRIS, C. W. Jan. 6, 1955 [Jan. 8, 1954], No. 556/54. Class 83 (3). A jig-boring-tool comprises a main body d having a bore parallel to but eccentric to its axis, and a cutter-spindle e within the bore having a second bore h eccentric to the spindle axis, the eccentricities being equal so that in one position the axes of the spindle-bore and body coincide, and the spindle having spurteeth thereon engaged by a worm m for adjusting its position with the aid of a dial. The spindle is locked in position by a screw s.
