Class 40(6) In an ultra-high frequency oscillator employing a triode 30, an impedance 37 is connected in series with a parallel tuned circuit 41, 42 between two electrodes of the tube to provide compensation for the cathode lead inductance LK and an output from-lead 44 respectively. The anode and grids are brought out through two separate leads to form series resonant circuits Lp<SP>2</SP>, Lg<SP>2</SP>, 32 and Lp<SP>1</SP>, Lg<SP>1</SP> and 31. The capacity 41 may be varied to control the degree of feedback. The lead 44 is tapped down on inductor 42 to give a low impedance output.
