Class 83 (1) In a centrifugal-casting mould-assembly for hollow bodies such as pipes of the type described in Specification 762,524, which is referred to, the shaped metallic mould-member which is fitted within the expansible sleeve 2, consists of a part-arcuate, part-plane member 4, and a complemental segmental member 5 mating therewith to define a pair of additional mouldcavities 9 open to the mould cavity 6. The segmental member 5 comprises a pair of spaced projections 10 which form, during casting, fixing holes in the lugs formed in the cavities 9. The member 4 is split at 8 and the halves are formed with interengaging means such as dowels and sockets, such means also being formed on the mating faces of the members 4, 5.
