Abstract
Improvements in the molds to manufacture hollow turbine blades, characterized in that the mold includes: a central mold element having on each side at least part of the configuration of the hollow interior of the blade; opposing outer mold elements cooperating with the central member on opposite sides thereof, each outer mold element having an inner wall surface corresponding to a finished blade surface; said central mold element having outer edges extending beyond the blade configuration thereon and said outer elements having similar outer edges extending beyond the blade surface thereon, said outer edges of the elements cooperating of mold with each other for coupling to each other to form the finished mold and to separate opposing cooperating surfaces from the mold cavity.
