Abstract
768,709. Mono-rail railways.' ROAD MACHINES (DRAYTON), Ltd., and ROBB, W. M. July 7, 1955 [July 10, 1954], No. 20246/54. Addition to 720,680. Class 104 (2). The mono-rail unit of the parent Specificaton is modified so that the rail has an inverted channel section base a and a circular head section d rigidly connected by a series of spaced web plates b and a series of inclined staggered bracing plates c. The plates c are of triangular shape the base of the base being attached to the rail head section d. The units are joined in series by being supported on transverse pedestals the rail head ends being provided with a depending pin and the channel section ends with a socket, and the dependent flanges adjacent the channel ends being removed.
