768,295. Jet propulsion nozzles. SOC. NOUVELLE DES ETABLISSEMENTS BRANDT. Jan. 10, 1955 [Jan. 21, 1954], No. 716/55. Class 110 (3). [Also in Group XXI] The nozzle T of a projectile is made in two parts, a throat section 24 of graphite and a threaded part 26 with a flared bore. An obturator P. closing the nozzle and containing means for igniting the propellant 15 is held in place by a washer 27 which is adapted to rupture when the pressure in the combustion chamber reaches a certain value and thereupon the obturator is ejected.
