763,093. Overhead travelling cranes. WILKINSON & ROBERTS, Ltd. Feb. 2, 1955 [Feb. 2, 1954], No. 3022/54. Class 78 (4). Rollers d on a carriage B supporting a guide track A<1> for a hoist carriage A bear against the flanges c<1> of the longitudinal beams C on which the carriage B runs. In the form illustrated the rollers d are carried by plates D which can be adjusted relatively to the carriage B. Two carriages such as that shown at B are spaced along the beam C at each end of the track A<1>. Roller bearings d<1> and b<4> mount the rollers d and the main supporting rollers b<3>. The Specification also illustrates an alternative construction embodying minor modifications to the framework of the carriage B.
