755,005. Changing gauge of wheels. TICHAUER SOC., A R.L., M. Dec. 3, 1954 [Dec. 3, 1953]. No.35155/54 Class 103(6). A truck suitable for example for supporting a tower crane, comprises two hollow girders 3 supported at one end on wheels 1 and at the other end accommodating smaller girders 4 supported on wheels 2. Each girder 4 is mounted to slide within the girder 3, for which purpose rollers 10 are provided within the girder 3 and a roller 8 at the end of this girder engages the top of the girder 4. The gauge between the wheels 1, 2 is thus automatically adjusted where necessary at curves in the track.
