763,068. Valves. TURNER, W. Aug. 16, 1954 [Aug. 19, 1953], No. 22883/53. Class 135. In a fluid-flow control valve comprising a casing housing endwise-disposed sleeves and sealing rings and a valve member slidable therein having coaxial blind bores adapted to be put into communication with each other on movement of the valve member against a spring, the valve member projects from both ends of the casing for attachment in a pipe line, one exposed end carrying a coil spring against which the valve member is moved by a pull on its other exposed end. As shown, two such valves are housed in parallel bores 10, 11 in a common casing 14. The bore 10 houses sleeves 22, 23 and sealing rings 19, 20, 21 and a valve member 12 which on leftward pull against a spring 30 connects a compressed air supply at 24 to an inflatable tyre at 25 through axial bores 27, 26 and radial ports 29, 28. The bore 11 houses sleeves 43, 44, 45 and sealing rings 39 ... 42 and a valve member 13 which on leftward pull against a spring 30A connects the tyre to a pressure gauge at 34 through axial bores 46, 47 and radial ports 48, 49. On further leftward movement of the valve member the tyre may be connected to the atmosphere through the bore 46 and radial ports 50.
